A young man's life is transformed when he acquires the coat of his hero, the legendary film director Stanley Kubrick. However, things do not go to plan.

Matt is a man of little note. Working a a DVD rental store is the nearest he can make it to the glamorous world of film production. When the stunning Ayame walks into his shop to rent a film he finds himself unable to talk to her, yet his best mate Jim offers to help him out with a make over. While out looking for a new look he stumbles across a coat which belonged to the legendary film director Stanley Kubrick. Matt saves for weeks to afford the famous coat until finally he is able to go in and exchange his hard owned pennies for the magnificent garment. Like magic he is transformed. When Ayame next comes into the shop he manages to make witty banter with her, and even gets invited to her friend Kate's exhibition launch. Is there anything which a sharp image can't enable you to accomplish? Apparently not.
